Today is Monday and we're looking at some inspirational images ! We feel so happy in this grey winter  to see some colourful work ! Sharing with you the technicolour world of Monica Forsberg a Swedish illustrator who creates wonderful cheerfull imageries.  Seeing few of these and we want to see more and more ! 
Flowers, plants, fruits, animals are all personified with a touch of humour  in a very vibrant style.
Monica is based in London and does commissioned works for editorials, books, children's games etc. Even some great animations ! you can see more of her work here ! 
If you like colour and patterns as much as we do you will surely enjoy !

This weekend, treat your family and friends with something sweet!
Spice up your holiday menu with these biscuits..... 
the aroma of which takes you back to your childhood. 
They are a huge hit with all ages and a favourite holiday treat! 
So put on your aprons this weekend and bake it up! 

  1. - Melted butter, to grease
  2. - 125g butter, room temp
  3. - 1/2 cup brown sugar
  4. - 1/2 cup golden syrup
  5. - 1 egg, separated
  6. - 2 1/2 cups plain flour
  7. - 1 tbsp ground ginger
  8. - 1 tsp mixed spice
  9. - 1 tsp baking soda
  10. - Plain flour, to dust
  11. - 1 cup pure icing sugar, sifted
  12. - liquid food colouring
  • 1. Preheat oven 180°C. Lightly grease 2 baking trays with melted butter.
  • 2. In a bowl, beat butter and sugar until pale and creamy. Add golden syrup and egg yolk and beat until combined. Stir in flour, ginger, mixed spice and baking soda.
  • 3. Turn out onto lightly floured surface and knead until smooth. Press dough into a disc and cover with plastic wrap and place in fridge for 30 mins.
  • 4. Place egg white in a clean bowl and use an electric mixer to beat until soft peaks form. Gradually add icing sugar and beat until stiff peaks form.
  • 5. Divide icing among as many bowls as the number of colors you plan on using to decorate your cookies. Add a few drops of food coloring to each icing to get your desired color. Place the bowls in the fridge.
  • 6. Place dough between 2 sheets of baking paper and roll out until about 4mm thick. Use your cookie cutters to cut out shapes. Place on trays about 3cm apart.
  • 7. Bake for 10 mins or until brown. Remove and transfer to cool on rack.
  • 8. Place prepared icings in small plastic bags. Cut a small hole in a corner of each bag. Pipe icing over cookies to decorate.

Quick, easy and delicious. Bring in the Christmas cheer with these freshly baked biscuits. Combine loads of wishes, sprinkle with laughter, garnish with mistletoe and keep your cookies warm in our Tia Pakhi napkins crafted with love!
